About the Author:
Mariam Saad was raised by Egyptian parents in Southern California. She graduated with honors from California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She spent many years working in the family business, with local schools, and teaching 8th grade English abroad. Her time and energy were focused at home after the birth of her son, where she surrounded him with reading materials and developmental toys. Prior to becoming interested in his board books, her son had shown an interest in listening to her voice while admiring the images and feeling the textures on the pages. This was the spark that ignited her desire to enter the world of children through story telling and lesson teaching.
