About the Author

Majid Mohiuddin lives in Chicago and specializes in oncology. He graduated from Brown University and trained at Harvard Medical School. He is a recipient of the New Jersey Governor's Award for the Arts and Literature, a Brown University Rose Writing Fellow, and the author of An Audience of One, his first book of Islamic ghazals in English.
